On Global Recycling Day it’s important for businesses to reflect on our progress and plans for how we can preserve our natural resources and better protect the environment.

Recycling is a key pillar of our environmental actions, but we continually strive to Prevent, Reduce and Reuse waste rather as a priority. From the design of packaging with the end user in mind, to internal recycling awareness campaigns, our aim is to avoid waste disposal in our operations, across the globe.

To celebrate Global Recycling Day, our Environmental Officer, Chloe Paton, encouraged the Coombe Castle team to make new recycling commitments and awarded a prize to the team member with the most ambitious pledge to recycle. Client Services Administrator, Julia Betteridge, was voted as the most committed to recycling – well done Julia!

In addition to an individual winner, we wanted to also congratulate the entire Production team for the collaborative and varied recycling initiatives they are doing. Well done!
