A unique twist on Belton’s famous Red Leicester, Red Fox. The complex blend of sweet and savoury distinctive flavours of the Red Fox, matured for between 16-18 months and then naturally smoked for 10 hours over oak chips. The russet coloured cheese has a cunningly unexpected crunch, from the naturally occurring calcium lactate crystals which form as the cheese matures. This is a perfect cheese that could easily replace Cheddar as your day-to-day cheese of choice.

It is firm bodied and open texture and may have calcium lactate crystals present. Crafted from rich Scottish milk taken from dairy herds that graze on the banks of the Lochs and in the Glens of Scotland.
