We were delighted to see St David’s Day celebrated in style at Steve’s Tea’s Tea Room in Canada this year, where a special Clotted Cream Tasting event brought together tea lovers for a truly memorable day.

Approximately 200 customers joined the festivities, enjoying the launch of the tea room’s new Maple Cream Earl Grey Black Tea, perfectly paired with freshly made chocolate chip Welsh cakes served with clotted cream. The combination proved to be a huge hit with guests, who embraced the flavours and traditions of Wales.

The atmosphere was wonderfully festive, with many visitors dressing for the occasion. Daffodils and leeks, the traditional emblems of Wales, could be seen proudly pinned to lapels throughout the tea room, adding a colourful and authentic touch to the celebrations.

It was a fantastic day filled with great tea, delicious treats, and a shared appreciation for Welsh heritage.
