This distinguished award recognises individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the cheese industry across production, innovation, organisation, education and marketing – celebrating those whose impact has helped shape the future of our sector.

Peter’s career spans more than four decades in the dairy industry, combining technical expertise, commercial leadership and a deep respect for traditional cheesemaking. Since joining Coombe Castle International in 2011, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening the global reputation of British cheese, overseeing major operational developments and helping bring British cheese to international retailers.

Alongside his global impact, Peter has remained closely connected to the craft itself, mentoring teams and supporting the production of award-winning cheeses.
