The end of July saw the International Cheese and Dairy Awards 2019 at Nantwich. It was a great couple of days for Coombe Castle with our Brandy Clotted Cream winning a Gold Award for the third year running. Belton Farm did extremely well and won the National Westminster Trophy for the exhibitor winning the highest number of points overall and they also clinched the Champion Farmhouse Cheshire Cheese award for their Coloured Cheddar, amongst a tranche of other awards. Ford Farm also won multiple awards with their Cave Aged Cheddar taking the Champion Farmhouse Cheddar Trophy, the Past Masters Trophy and the best PDO Trophy. Dewlay had an excellent show taking home the Tesco Red Leicester Trophy and Ted Hassall Memorial Trophy. A fantastic event yet again showing we really do work with the best partner brands and suppliers in the business.
