Expert cheese makers in the heart of the Peak District in Derbyshire.
Cheese making in the Peak District village of Hartington dates back to the 1870s. The creamery was originally opened by the Duke of Devonshire, and after a series of closures, the creamery was reopened in 2012, reinstating the same traditional, hand-made, cheese-making methods that have always been employed. Their small team work meticulously to ensure that every cheese they produce reaches the highest standard.

This cheese is produced in small batches using only hand-made methods, making it a truly artisan product. Dovedale has been awarded a PDO meaning that it can only be produced
